Guelph Dance

2015 Dance Market

A featured element of the Guelph Dance Festival, the Dance Market is a marketplace celebration of all aspects of health and wellbeing. Get inspired and try something new!

New this year, the Dance Market takes place twice, in Exhibition Park after both the Saturday and Sunday Park performances! The event is pay-what-you-can, suggested donation of $15. Don’t carry cash? Donate online ahead of time!

The marketplace will feature dance and martial arts studios, physiotherapists, movement practitioners, and much more. Teachers, performers, mentors, healers, musicians, individuals and studios, will display and demonstrate their talents, as well as providing a chance to network with newcomers and veterans of the local dance community. If you’re curious about the many rich and diverse recreational, instructional, and professional offerings of our talented community, don’t miss this festive gathering.

Come and try a variety of dance and movement forms offered by local schools and movement centres. Take the plunge into physical expression, fitness and well-being. Each workshop will be a 10 or 15-minute taste only. Please be sure to bring a water bottle, clothes you can move in, and shoes for the concrete surface. Celebrate your dance, quench your thirst for physical practice!
