Three different weeks of camp with a variety of offerings for campers born 2003-2012 (entering SK-Grade 9).

Camp Hours: 9:30-3:30
Pre-Camp Care: 8:30-9:30 am (free and optional)
Post-Camp Care: 3:30-4:30 pm (free and optional)
Extended After Care: 4:30-5:30 pm ($20/week; Mon-Thurs only; $15/week for Week 1)
Friday Showing: 4:00 pm (for family and friends)

Our signature Arts Explosion camp offers dance, visual arts, music and more!

Younger campers (typically those born 2011-12) will experience:

Older campers (typically those born 2008-10) will experience:

DANCE FOCUS – register now!

For: Campers born 2004-2007 (entering Grades 5-8) with at least 2 years of dance training
Where: River Run Centre
Cost: $200
Dance Focus is an intensive dance camp for those with at least two years of dance experience. Dance workshops encourage creative breadth and skill, while visual arts training provides another artistic perspective.

COUNSELLOR IN TRAINING PROGRAM – register now!

For: Youth born 2004 (entering grade 8).
Where: River Run Centre
Cost: $100
This is a fun-filled week of professional artist mentorship, leadership skill-building, and hands-on volunteering with young campers. A terrific opportunity for youth interested in gaining leadership experience in a camp and arts environment.

The CIT program aims to:
– instill, encourage, and foster healthy leadership skills
– encourage team work
– to educate youth about teaching the arts
– to build confidence

WEEK III: JULY 17-21, 2017

 

PERFORMANCE FOCUS – NEW!register now!

For: campers born between 2003-2008 (entering grades 4-9)
Where: Guelph Youth Dance Studios, 42 Quebec Street, Guelph
Cost: $250
Campers should be dropped off every morning at GYD Studios and picked up there Monday-Thursday. On Friday, campers should be picked up at the River Run Centre following the 4 pm performance.

Performance Focus is a new camp for our older campers. It is a multi-arts extravaganza incorporating contemporary and jazz dance, theatre, music, song, and set design and construction. Campers will create a contemporary and socially relevant production of the classic and universal fable, The Country Mouse and the City Mouse. Campers will be grouped by age and experience to work with our teaching artists on different aspects of the production, which will be performed on the last day of camp, Friday, July 21, at 4 pm, at the River Run Centre.

A team of extraordinary professional teaching artists is facilitating Performance Focus:
Shannon Kingsbury (music and song)
Courtney
Riddell (theatre)
Kelly Steadman (dance)
Janet Morton (set design/construction).

Performance Focus is sure to be a fun adventure of creation and performance, perfect for the kid who wants to do it all

* Sibling discount of 5%. Registration fees are eligible for a fitness tax credit.

1) Pay for Registration.
Go to our Camp Registration Page to register your child/ren for camp.

2) Complete a Camper Information Form.
Go to our Camper Information Form page to download a form for each child attending camp. Please return it to us prior to the first day of camp.

3) Review General Camp Information.
Visit our Camps webpage for details about pick-up and drop-off times, before and after camp care and, what to bring to camp.
